As I mentioned in my last post, the trio got their first taste of fishing this week.
We took them to the Eco park at Luscombe. http://www.ecopark.net.au/
Nana and Grandad were along for the trip so it was one of those rare occasions where adults outnumbered the children.
We chose to go mid week which was definitely a good choice because it meant that we didn’t have to worry about the crowds.
Before we had even made it through the cafe area and into the park Alita was fascinated by a bird that kept saying “hello” to her and the boys were being entertained by two very patient cats.
Dad was in charge of the one fishing rod that we hired between us. This worked out really well because there was a huge bouncy castle which kept two children busy while the third was fishing with Dad and they just rotated.
We took a break from fishing to eat our picnic and then we all headed up to feed the animals. There were Alpacas, Pigs, Goats, Donkeys & a huge variety of birds – including some that could talk which really caught Alita’s attention.
We all had a great day out and we would definitely go again.
